Benefit Holiday 2009: Followup Questions - Makeup and Beauty Blog

Do good Full Finish Lipsticks from left to correct: No Competition and Lady's Choice

I pulled a Cinderella concluding nighttime — but not the cool drinking glass slipper/pumpkin part. It was the part with all of the cleaning, the singing animals (in this instance, Tabs) and the late-nighttime floor mopping.

Pretty shortly the new identify volition exist clean enough, and I'll be able to get back to commenting on a regular footing. One of the highlights of my days is commenting, and I've been going through withdrawals lately. I've all the same been reading them all, even though I may not accept been able to respond.

Speaking of comments, I saw some great questions in response to this week's Do good Holiday 2009 post.

Here's a quick followup:

one. What's that second lipstick in the Celebutante ready?

Eagle-eyed DJ and Jess caught that there are two Total-Finished Lipsticks in the Celebutante Set. Good heart, gals!

Lady's Choice (a flossy pinkish) joins No Contest (a deep plum) in the set.

No Competition is a color I like to wearable with eyeshadows in gold and brown.

2. How big are the blush pans in the Powderazzi palette?

benefit holiday 2009 powderazzi and regular sized blushes

Readers Nicole and Sdpfeiffy asked how the blush pans in the Powderazzi set compare to Benefit's full-sized box blushes.

Well, the Powderazzi blushes are about a quarter the size of the regular box blushes (a .ten-oz pan versus a .42-oz pan), so they're substantially smaller.

Merely consider this: option. 🙂 I'd cull an pick with iii blushes over an option with one whatever sometime mean solar day.

Powderazzi also comes in a slim, portable box that's kind to makeup bags (east.g. information technology's modest), taking up less infinite than most bulky, full-size box blushes.

And, seriously, tin can you remember the last time you finished an entire full-size pan of blush? I can't. These smaller blushes seem pretty practical to me.

3. Will the sets exist available at Sephora?

Howdy, Marina! The answer's "mostly, yeah."

Information technology looks like all three Crescent Row fragrance sets, Celebutate and Glitz Glam & Gloss are available now on Sephora.com and Benefit.com, and we can as well await to see 'em carried in Sephora stores soon.

The only prepare we *won't* be able to snag at Sephora is Powderazzi — an Ulta exclusive — and so it's off to Ulta and Ulta.com for that. I saw that it isn't upwardly on the Ulta website withal, but I'll go along checking and will let yous know when I see it (allow me know if/when yous run across it, too).

Another thing: If yous desire to relieve a few bucks (and who doesn't?) and tin can wait … Sephora's online Friends and Family sale runs from Oct xix through November 2 (use code FF2009 for 20% off). 🙂
