Former Employee, more than than 3 years
Pros
Flexible with my hours, didn't micro-manage, this isn't a pro towards NYFA but my coworkers were the best office of the task.
Cons
Pandemic made it abundantly articulate that not only does the schoolhouse not care nearly its employees, it doesn't care about its students. Recruitment and getting money for the school was more than important than giving people a proper educational activity, and I was pressured into staying in person in the commencement of pandemic when I was clearly uncomfortable with it. If it wasn't for my manager sticking up for me I probably would take folded. People infected with COVID who were present on campus weren't being reported, employees are overworked and underpaid and new people weren't being hired, etc etc etc. Upper management (i.e., the Dean) at the campus non merely don't have a proper picture groundwork, but also once again just don't care about the employees. Doubt she knew my last name and it is a tiny campus. NY campus cared even less for united states of america, overall the task was easy and I dear my coworkers, but if it wasn't for them the task would not be worth it.
